While Jamie Lynn Spears received a personal endorsement from teen sensation Miley Cyrus earlier this week, adolescents from the pregnant one’s hometown weren’t as kind when they spoke to Star magazine. At just 16 years old, the “Zoey 101” star stands accused of pre-pregnancy drinking binges and cheating on her boyfriend.
“I know for a fact that Casey was not the first guy she slept with — or the last,” a peer from Kentwood, La., told the publication. “There were at least two others. I know that 110 percent.”
Another source shared a story of Jamie Lynn attempting to hookup with a boy she met at a party — long after she started dating Casey Aldridge and just days before she announced her pregnancy to the world. “It's cool; I'm pregnant,” Jamie Lynne allegedly said. “I can't get pregnant again!”
A “friend” told Star party scenes were nothing new to the teen star. Apparently, before her December bun-in-the-oven shocker, Jamie Lynn drank and partied in private.
“Some people drink to have a good time,” the insider said. “But she drank to get wrecked. She drank to get messed up and forget about her mother, her sister and all of that.”
Janet Jackson’s marriage allergy
In an interview with The Insider, Janet Jackson tried to put an end to the marriage speculation that surrounds her and partner Jermaine Dupri.
Slideshow: Celebrity Sightings “I don't know if we'll get married,” the singer confessed. “You know, I felt so badly for Jermaine. So many people were putting pressure on him, then they started putting pressure on me. And everybody would ask us about it — even friends.”
Maybe the friendly inquiries were just attempts to find out if they were already hitched. Not an odd concern, given both of Janet’s previous marriages happened on the sly.
Her 1984 elopement with James DeBarge ended in an annulment, and few even knew of her marriage to Rene Elizondo until she filed for divorce.
As for a formal union with Jermaine, Janet told The Insider, “If it's to happen, it'll happen. I like where we are, and I'm happy where I am. I've done it twice before. I'm afraid I might be a jinx. I might be allergic to marriage.”
