Angelina Jolie’s latest pregnancy may be more the result of insecurity than love. According to National Enquirer, the stunning actress spent the last year terrified that Brad Pitt would end their relationship if she failed to give him another child.
Insiders told the tabloid that Brad is devoted to both their adopted children and biological child. Still, Brad desired to sire another heir. He and Angie had several heated disagreements over whether to postpone another adoption in favor of a homemade baby.
Angie grew insecure and decided another biological child could relieve the tension. “Then, when she couldn’t get pregnant, Angelina worried that Brad might leave her,” a source confided to Enquirer. “That’s when she went to the specialist.” Finally in vitro fertilization provided Brangelina with not one baby, but twins!
“Brad and Angelina are absolutely thrilled, but Angelina is also very relieved,” the Enquirer’s insider said. “After trying for months to conceive naturally, she also began to fear that she’d never get pregnant again. She really believes that the new babies will finally put to rest the problems in their relationship.”

‘Homebody’ LiLo won’t give up clubbing
Slideshow: Playing together
Even with her last rehab stint months behind her, Lindsay Lohan finds every move she makes is still under the microscope. Is she drinking? Back on the party circuit? Who’s she with? Tired of the whispers and misconceptions, LiLo speaks out.
“The cameras are constantly there, and they’re constantly looking for the negative,” she said in an interview in the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar. “So one roll of the eyes and you’re deemed drunk. One wrong step, your ankle twists, and you’re drunk. They can declare, ‘Lindsay drunk in the day!’ Which I never was in my life, actually.”
Certain that the public has it all wrong when it comes to her mostly homey lifestyle, Lindsay explained to the magazine what it’s really like. “I have it in me to go, go, go. I love life. I love music and being around that. I love people, and I’m a very social person. But I also love being home, quiet and normal … I’ve always been a homebody. … Seriously.”
Then where did that persistent party-girl image come from? “I'm fine being alone during the day, but I hate being alone at night,” she confessed in an interview for the upcoming issue of Glamour UK. “I like having friends around me, but now I'd much rather be at home.
“That's not to say I'll never go to a club again.” She added, “Because I'd be lying.”
George Clooney: From combat zone to Oscar luncheon
For Fabio nemesis George Clooney, attending the Oscars luncheon offered a sweet retreat from his work as a United Nations messenger of peace.
Slideshow: Celebrity Sightings “I just spent literally two weeks in four conflict zones,” George said at the 80th annual Academy Awards Nominees luncheon in Beverly Hills (as reported by People). “I've spent the last two weeks around a lot of people who were killing and shooting each other for what seems like senseless reasons.”
The Oscar-nominated “Michael Clayton” star received a larger reward recently when he was recognized the UN for “focusing public attention on crucial international political and social issues,” People reports.
Humorously comparing the Oscar luncheon to a “combat zone,” George added, “It's kind of nice to be wearing a suit again. I'm happy to be here.”

Move over Tom Cruise, it’s time for Kirstie Alley’s moment in the Scientologist “say what?” spotlight. The New York Post’s Page Six printed excerpts of an interview Kirstie gave to the church’s magazine, the Source, about its Florida summit. “I'm walking out an entirely different being, and I mean entirely different,” the Jenny Craig spokeswoman declared. “My viewpoint on the fourth dynamic and mankind and other people changed.” … He may be 70 years old, but Jack Nicholson’s still on the prowl — even if he does need a hand keeping up with the ladies now and again. “I like each year to date a nice range of women,” the veteran actor revealed to The Guardian UK. “I only use Viagra when I am with more than one.”
