Will Kevin Federline get the kids? Following Britney Spears’ latest round of erratic behavior, her estranged hubby wants sole custody of their two children, according to Life & Style.

Spears was recently spotted driving with her younger son Jayden facing forward in his car seat, not backward as federal guidelines require. And earlier this month, he was photographed grabbing his mother’s cigarettes. On July 18, she stripped to her skivvies on a beach in front of photographers and reports of bizarre behavior at an OK! magazine shoot have friends seriously worried about the Toxic singer. Spears wants K-Fed to sign a joint custody agreement, but he’s reportedly refused.

“Kevin is convinced she’s not fit to raise the kids,” an insider told the mag. “He’s done tolerating her behavior and is gearing up to fight for full custody.”

The two had a “vicious blowup” during a tour stop in Maryland earlier this month in which Madden erupted in a “very public, very brutal tirade” and reportedly used the f-word while Richie sat in “stunned, submissive silence,” according to Star.

The eruption came in Annapolis, Md., when Richie went into a lingerie store to buy a bra. The super-skinny reality show star asked for a size AAA, the smallest size available, but they didn’t have it, so Richie bought one with a AA cup. When she emerged from the store, Madden, who is with the band Good Charlotte, exploded. Compounding the couple’s problem, according to the tab, is that Madden has a “simmering temper” and Richie is reportedly pregnant.

“Joel used to be a nice guy, but his temper is flying loose these days,” a friend told the tab. “He’s overwhelmed, and he snaps because he’s got a lot on his mind. He finds fault with Nicole all the time.”

Notes from all over
Brittany Snow got snubbed at an after party for her own movie, but the “Hairspray” star didn’t throw a diva fit. The 21-year-old actress plays Amber Von Tussle in the flick, but the doorman at New York’s Amalia didn’t recognize her, and she was left standing outside for 20 minutes, according to In Touch Weekly. “Someone finally realized and apologized,” an insider told the mag. “Brittany told everyone that it wasn’t a big deal.” ... Russell Simmons and the Rev. Al Sharpton are helping PETA publicize the horrors of dog fighting, according to Ingrid Newkirk, who heads up the animal rights group. ... David Hasselhoff has a few lapses in memory from his hardest partying years. The former “Baywatch” actor told the Scottish Daily Record, “I have seen episodes of ‘Baywatch’ that I have no recollection of making.”
