Jennifer Lopez has jumped to the defense of TomKat’s wedding — and their sometimes controversial religion.

“[The wedding] was a great celebration of their love,” J. Lo told a Florida TV station. “It was good. It was beautiful.”

The singer/dancer/actress raised eyebrows when she was spotted at the star-studded nuptials in Italy — and started speculation that she’s considering converting to Scientology, the religion embraced by Tom Cruise, as well as Lopez’s friend, “King of Queens” star Leah Remini.

But Lopez doesn’t need the “King of Queens” star to show her the Scientology ropes: her father is a member, and she’s irked that people criticize and ridicule the religion.

Looks like Britney Spears’ new man is bringing the really important things into her life: underwear.

Model Isaac Cohen — who is said to still be dating the Toxic singer despite rumors that they’ve split — was spotted at the posh lingerie store La Bra looking for a Valentine’s Day present.

He walked out with a black silk La Perla tuxedo shirt that set him back $358 — as well as seven pairs of panties, reports a source, who add, “I guess it was one for each day of the week.”

Notes from all over
Is Clay Aiken being framed? Compromising footage supposedly of the “American Idol” star stripping for a Web cam is actually an imposter, his irate fans claim.  . . . .” Seventy-two-year-old actress Eileen Atkins wishes she’d never blabbed that Colin Farrell, 30, once hit on her. “I felt awful at exposing Colin — I was so upset at appearing to tell tales out of school but Colin was adorable,” she recently said. “He sent me flowers, came to my first night in America, stood in my dressing room and said, ‘I should be so lucky.” .. . Pamela Anderson isn’t exactly giving her and Denise Richards’ upcoming film, “Blonde and Blonder,” rave reviews. “Nothing fancy!” she notes. “Comes out in May. I prefer the title ‘2 Stupid [Bleeps – rhymes with ‘Witches’]’ I’d hate for this to try and compare to ‘Dumb and Dumber.’ We’re not nearly that funny.”
