Jessica Simpson has been linked to several hunks lately, but the “Dukes of Hazzard” star insists she hasn’t dated anyone since her split from hubby Nick Lachey.

“I don’t feel right about dating yet,” Simpson told OK! magazine a day after her divorce became final; but the topic of the divorce was off-limits in the interview.

The “Newlyweds” star admits that she “dreams” about Brad Pitt, but she denied published reports that she and her “Employee of the Month” co-star Dane Cook are getting romantic — insisting that Cook is merely “one of my dear friends.”

Simpson explains “Every time I feel frustrated, I’ll e-mail him and he’ll e-mail back with a suggestion.”

The reports of the Simpson/Cook romance were also blasted as “all lies” by his live-in girlfriend, Valli Girls lead singer Raquel Houghton. Cook’s brother, Darryl, however, was more evasive, telling the Boston Herald, “We have no comment at this time.”

Simpson says that exercise helps keeps her a “strong woman” — but she says she has no desire to lose weight. “There’s something empowering about curves,” she tells OK!. “You can’t strut when you’re skinny, you gotta have a little bit of bounce.”

The Paul McCartney/Heather Mills divorce is getting uglier.

Mills recently got hold of a taped phone conversation between the ex-Beatle and his designing daughter, Stella, and played it for her estranged hubby. In the conversation, Stella — who has never been a fan of her father’s most recent wife — reportedly declares that she believes allegations that Mills was a high-class hooker, a charge former model Mills has denied.

“Paul’s face went white as a sheet and he looked utterly stunned,” when Mills played the tape for him, reports London’s Sunday Mirror. “He was shocked and staggered to discover that his private home phone had been secretly bugged.”

The paper, which has been somewhat sympathetic to Mills, reports that she was “handed the tape by a third party” and adds that “there is no suggestion that she is behind the recording” — although that possibility doesn’t seem to be ruled out.
