Looks like Britney Spears might be having another rough pregnancy.
The “Oops!... I Did It Again” crooner went into false labor on July 15, according to In Touch Weekly, and now has her doctor on speed dial. “She's fine now,” a “family insider” told the mag. “Britney started cramping. She had a real scare.” Spears also had a few health scares during her first pregnancy.
Spears, who is seven months pregnant, learned that she needs to cut down on the Cheetos. “After indulging in junk food during her first two trimesters, she hired a nutritionist to help her follow a well-balanced diet, a “pal” told ITW. “She wasn't eating enough vegetables.” Spears’ doc also told her that she may have to spend the last month of her pregnancy on bed rest, but, says the friend, “Britney is determined to enjoy the rest of her pregnancy and stay healthy after she gives birth.”
Tiger’s bag lady
Tiger Woods apparently has become accustomed to having a caddy. Woods was in his wife’s native Sweden the other day, and a source tells The Scoop the golf wiz let his sister-in-law carry his luggage.
The winner of the British Open arrived in Stockholm on his private jet with his wife Elin and her twin sister, Josefin Nordegren Sunday night at 1.30 a.m., reports our source. “They rented a Volvo S80 and drove directly to their deluxe apartment in Östermalm,” says the source. “Josefin carried up their bags.”
The next day they left at slightly after noon, reportedly snubbing some fans who had been waiting for autographs, and got into a car — the buzz is that they’re house hunting. Elin did the driving. “Apparently, Tiger looked very tired,” says the insider.
Notes from all over
Will wedding bells ring for Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy? The funny man and funny lady want to elope to Los Cabos, Mexico on Labor Day, according to the Star. “Jim calls Jenny 10 times a day,” an “insider” tells the tab. “Jenny’s been busting at the seams to scream her love from the rooftops,” the insider adds, but Carrey — who had a failed romance with Renee Zellweger and a failed marriage to Lauren Holly — is worried that too much media attention may wreck things ... Mild mannered “Jeopardy” champ Ken Jennings has a snarky streak. After New York Post television writer Michael Starr wrote how the trivia champ used his blog to make fun of the quiz show that made him famous, Jennings wrote an entry attacking Starr — as well as the “humor-impaired sock puppet users” who he says didn’t get the joke. “Despite working for the Post, I’m sure [Starr’s] reading comprehension is just fine,” Jennings blogged. “It’s a humor piece, and one which gets its laughs from the outrageous non sequiturs it proposes, not the ripeness of its target for criticism.” ... Jessica Simpson’s rep keeps insisting that she’s not romantically involved with her “Employee of the Month” co-star Dane Cook, but Life & Style Weekly is reporting in its upcoming issue that Cook has asked her to go on vacation with him this fall. “Jess is ecstatic about the offer, but she’s being cautious about giving him a definite yes,” an “insider. “After her marriage to Nick, she’s learned the hard way about committing too early.”
