Recipe: Gold Rush (alcoholic)

For an aperitif or afternoon break

Ingredients
  • 3/4 oz. lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz. honey syrup
  • 2 oz. bourbon
Preparation

Shake and pour over 1 big ice chunk in a rocks glass.

Foods to go with:
The gold rush is tangy from the lemon juice, so a smoked hard cheese (such as gouda or cheddar) would go well. I would serve the cheese as slices alone or on top of a small baguette sliced with apples and grapes for an afternoon snack. BBQ potato wedges would taste great too.
