Did Lindsay Lohan have a fling with rocker Harry Judd?

Slideshow: Lindsay Lohan He claims they did — but her furious rep is blasting that story as a publicity stunt. Judd, of the group McFly, is saying that the two had a tryst while filming “Just My Luck,” in which McFly has a cameo. Lohan had flirted with a few members of the band, they claim, and they all went to a night club where she singled out 20-year-old Judd. “Then she said, ‘Kiss me.’ I was really nervous, I can tell you, because she’s so super successful and talented. I thought, ‘This is awesome,” Judd told the London Daily Mail. “Then she invited me back to her hotel, I left at eight the next morning.’”

For about a year, Judd has denied buzz that the two had a fling, but a single on the group’s new album is rumored to be about her. One line of the song “Please, Please, Lindsay, Please!” goes: “You love yourself more than you love me.”

“He’s using these lies for publicity,” Lohan’s rep, Leslie Sloane, tells the Scoop. “It’s convenient how he’s making up these stories when he has an album coming out.”

Country catfight
The war of words between Reba McEntire and the Dixie Chicks is heating up.

The red-haired country crooner says she’s “very disappointed” in the trio for comments they’ve made about the industry and about Bush.

Chicks band member Martie Maguire had told Time magazine the group prefers to attract fans who “will grow with us as we grow and are fans for life, than people that have us in their five-disc changer with Reba McEntire and Toby Keith ... We don’t want those kinds of fans.”

“I’ve never turned my back on country music,” McEntire told the CMT network. “So when somebody talks bad about my music, my family, that does not set well with me. And when you bite the hand that feeds you, I just don’t think that’s very nice.”

Earlier in the year, she made a crack about how the Dixie Chicks “can sing with their foot in their mouth.” She recently added, “After they did come out in Time magazine and said that about Toby and me, I was very glad that I had [made those comments]. I was ready to say that because I hope they realize that they’re not doing themselves any favors.”

Notes from all over
Looks like Britney Spears hasn’t been discounted as much as some say. Despite reports elsewhere that an interview and exclusive pics of the pop star sold to OK! for a mere $5,000, a well-placed source tells us that the figure was a lot higher. “Enough of this B.S.,” the insider says. “The amount was $300,000.” Spears’ publicist would neither confirm nor deny that figure ... Sean Connery has cancelled his plans to participate in the Scottish Parliament’s Festival of Politics because the man heading up the organization is raising the touchy subject of Connery’s views about violence towards women. Connery has denied an ex-wife’s claim that he hit her, but he was once quoted in Playboy magazine as saying, “An openhanded slap is justified — if all other alternatives fail and there has been plenty of warning. If a woman is a [bleep], or hysterical, or bloody-minded continually, then I’d do it.” Connery pulled out of the festival when its head, George Reid, said he would interview Connery. “He will be asked difficult questions about ‘did a slap never do a woman any harm?’ for example,” Reid said ... Why did Dave Chappelle quit his hit show on Comedy Central? Was it a crew member’s “condescending” laugh? That’s a bizarre allegation being made. “Well this particular crew member had a condescending laugh — but that’s just the way he laughs,” Neal Brennan, Chappelle’s writing partner of 10 years tells in the forthcoming issue of Maxim. The particular staffer reportedly broke into laughs during a “racially insensitive” skit, prompting Chappelle to bolt. “But, yeah, that was Dave’s feeling, and you can’t change someone’s feelings.”
