How serious are Britney Spears’ marital woes?

So serious, according to one report, that she’s met with her family and lawyer — but not hubby Kevin Federline — and the topic of divorce came up.

“Brit’s been very unhappy, and I think she needs to find some peace,” a source told Life & Style Weekly. “Once the Spears family gets its game plan together, the idea is to spring a divorce on Kev without warning.”

Spears’ rep denies that there are problems with the marriage, but an insider told the mag that Spears was so angry with her partying hubby that she threw out all his liquor.

“She’s not going to let him make her feel like a guest in her own home anymore,” the insider said. “The new rules include no smoking or drinking, since secondhand smoke is bad for the kids.”

The two are, however, also reportedly having happier disagreements: over what to call the second baby. As Spears has confirmed, she's pregnant with another child, rumored to be a girl.

Federline wants to name the baby Julia after his mom, according to In Touch Weekly, but Britney would rather name the baby Lillian after her own maternal grandmother. “She also likes the names Emily and Lola,” says a friend.

Pre Mother's Day blues
Britney Spears’ erstwhile mentor, Madonna, meanwhile admits that she sometimes thinks she’s a “crappy” mom.

“It is a struggle to balance my career with my children,” the Material Girl said, reports the London Mirror. “I’m always going, ‘Oh God, I’m a crap mother’. I want to get home and put my kids to bed. And then sometimes, if I’m spending a lot of time with my children, I think, ‘Oh God, I just want to be an artist’. And you know, it’s hard.”

She says that her nine-year-old daughter, Lourdes, often gets frustrated by her fame: “Sometimes she doesn’t want me to come to certain things because she knows everyone is going to pay attention to me and then they’ll treat her differently,” Madonna said. “I took her to school on the first day last year, and all these kids were buzzing around. She came home that day and she was really irritated and kind of bummed out, like people were playing this contest — what would it be like to be Madonna’s daughter?”

Notes from all overLindsay Lohan is under stress. Her hair, that is, from too many dye jobs. “Her hair has been put under a lot of stress and I think she’s suffering the consequences of that now,” a source tells Star. “She’s now in an intensive conditioning regimen.”  . . . Don’t expect to see Christina Aguilera wearing loose turtlenecks and baggy trousers any time soon: “I wouldn’t feel right wearing clothes that covered my whole body,” the Dirrty singer told the Sun.  . .  . Bruce Willis is boycotting the news. “We go for the sensational now in the news. If it’s not sensational or tantalizing or making fun of someone, it seldom gets into the news,” the “Die Hard” star said, reports IMDB. “I don’t watch the news anyway. I have it turned off, and I feel so much better for it. That’s why I have that youthful glow about me. I don’t look worried.”
