There's nothing like starting your day with the smell of coffee brewing or fresh squeezed orange juice. Now you can awaken your senses with beauty products and recipes you can make in your own kitchen. Colleen Sullivan, beauty editor of Health magazine, has the details.

Do you love the smell of chocolate being baked? Or the scent of fresh brewed coffee in the morning? Beauty companies are banking on the fact that the answer is yes. This year they've launched entire lines of skin, hair and makeup products straight out of the produce section, bakery, candy store and more. Why? Consumers see food-inspired products — particularly those that contain vitamins and other healing or moisturizing ingredients — as a natural way to get the beauty benefits they want. They find that certain smells, like chocolate or vanilla, conjure up feel-good memories and emotions. Some of these scents may even fool your brain into thinking you've actually eaten the food.
