Here is a look inside our control room in Italy. It is located two flights underground near the "Today" show set in Piazza San Carlo. It used to be a storage area for a local store. What it looks like in this picture is the result of hard work by the production managers and crews. Hope you all have been enjoying the shows and these vlogs. We have been having a lot of fun. Beginning Friday, Feb. 10, Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, Al Roker, Natalie Morales, Campbell Brown and Lester Holt begin a daily video blog from Torino, Italy. Each anchor will offer a behind-the-scenes look at covering the Olympics and personal experiences about traveling to Torino. Also, “TODAY” staff members will submit written entries and there will be a slideshow of athletes who appear on the show.
