Savannah, Willie and more of the TODAY family shared their favorite Thanksgiving traditions, but it turns out that you have some greats ones as well! Here are five viewer-submitted memorable Thanksgiving traditions anyone could try this year, and check out the TODAY Facebook page for more great ideas.
Memorable tablecloth
"We have a white tablecloth that we only use on Thanksgiving and after we've cleared the table, everyone signs the table cloth. Every year is embroidered (by Grandma) in a different color with a key in the corner so we know who celebrated with us each year. It's been really neat to see how our family has grown over the last 15 years as we fill the tablecloth." -Tara Giebe
Dessert first
"First pie. We have a piece of pie mid-morning with coffee when we are not too full to enjoy it." -Vanessa Perkins Freeman
Start with service
"My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is to prepare breakfast for the residents of a women's shelter in Seattle. I go there with my mother and four family friends. We make waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage. We also have muffins and fruit. This is something we have been doing for more than 15 years." -Kelsey Lane Smith
Guess who?
"We have each person write on a piece of paper things they are thankful for and then draw these out of a bowl and try to guess who it is! We get the cutest answers from the kiddos." -Lisa Little Maxwell
Family fun
"We always get everyone together to play card bingo. It's so easy even the little ones can play and we have small $1 prizes. It's fun and we all love doing it together." -Tricia C. Hensler-Rice
