Instead of looking back, the visual social networking tool is predicting what trends will be the hottest in the new year with its Pinterest 100 list. Want to be ahead of the curve? Here are five trends that the site predicts will be huge for your home in 2016:
Geometric tiles
In 2015, the way to transform a kitchen or bathroom was with colorful designs via wall decals. In 2016, it’s all about the geometric-shaped tiles.
Graphic throw pillows
Flooring and walls aren't the only spots getting some extra attention in 2016. Beds, sofas and anywhere else you can toss a pillow are going to be getting some love as well. The Pinterest list predicts graphic, colorful throw pillows will be statement pieces in homes across the country through 2016.
