The 1,100-square-foot residence — described in the listing as “the quintessential Village home” — has a wood-burning fireplace, a corner living room, radiant-heated floors, oversized windows and custom closets. Located near the Hudson River Promenade and the High Line, the home features oak floors and 10-foot, wood-beamed ceilings.

Arlyne Blitz, a broker with the Corcoran Group, listed the two-bed, two-bath apartment in the West Village for $10,500 a month. Her website now states that the home has rented.

The actor likely began renting the home in Pickwick House in October 2013, according to data collected by StreetEasy. Friends found Hoffman in the bathroom of the fourth-floor condo at 35 Bethune Street in the West Village on Feb. 2, after an overdose.

During his accomplished acting career, Hoffman was nominated for four Academy Awards and won the 2006 Oscar for best actor for his performance in “Capote.”
