Mindy Kaling is a busy woman — she has a hit television show, “The Mindy Project,” and a new book, “Why Not Me?” hitting stores Sept. 15.
So when she started craving an office makeover, she enlisted the help of Nathan Turner, star of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Decorators,” who turned her work space into a fun haven that fit her creative personality. In the new issue of Domino magazine, Kaling shows off the project.
“Nathan chose pieces that are so vivid and complementary,” she gushes. Fans of the actress know she isn’t afraid of daring hues, so Turner went bold with Serena & Lily’s Blossom wallpaper in navy and a sofa upholstered in yellow (her favorite color).
“I really wanted to give this office some of Mindy’s great personality while keeping it functional,” Turner said. He included vibrantly colored pillows, bold floral artwork, and a white Parisian side table that’s both pretty and functional.
