We know that you, like us, love "Fixer Upper" co-host Joanna Gaines. And we bet that you, like us, would be quick to support her in the event of a new business venture.

For now, though, that won't mean buying a skin care line with her name on it.

Gaines, 39, took to Instagram on Friday to clear up rumors that she is leaving behind her beloved HGTV show with her husband, Chip Gaines, to start a line of skin care products.

"I wanted to take a minute to let y'all know that it's simply not true," Gaines explained in her post. "This is a SCAM! We have nothing to do with it and have been trying to stop it for some time."

Gaines was referring to a line of existing products illegally using her name.

She continued, "You can help! Please spread the word by sharing, re-posting, and/or re-tweeting this post and send any information regarding the fake news websites or sponsored ads to reporting@magnoliamarket.com."

Gaines added the hashtags, #dontbuythecream and #seasonfiveiscoming.

So here we are. Doing our part to spread the word. Don't buy the cream!

We're here for you, Joanna.

And selfishly, we're very glad you're not leaving the show.

We would, however, like to echo the sentiments of several commenters who wrote things like "let me know when you do have a face cream tho, your skin is luminous."

But seriously, guys, don't buy the cream.
