Christmas is right around the corner, and while some may already have all of their gifts nestled safely under their tree, others are just now kicking their shopping into high gear.

For that latter group, we've rounded up some great last-minute gift ideas for all the loved ones in your life with a little help from Good Housekeeping style director Lori Bergamotto.

While shopping in the store is your safest bet , some of these ideas still allow for online shopping if you're willing to shell out the extra cash for overnight delivery. Check the fine print, but most online retailers will specify the deadline and price before you buy.

Check out these great gift ideas to wrap up your shopping before the big day!

  1. Kindle, $59: Normally $79, this updated version of the e-reader has more storage, no glare and great battery life, and all at a great discounted price.

  2. Banana Republic Lariats & Ear Jackets, $45 or less: Jewelry is always a gifting favorite and necklaces and ear jackets are going to continue to be a huge trend in 2015. They all come in under $50, but look much more expensive. $22 to overnight ship and the deadline for Christmas Eve is Tuesday at 3 p.m.

  3. American Eagle Puffer Slipper, $19.99: Cozy, stylish slippers make a great gift for anyone. Check to see if you can make the deadline online, but there's still time to make it out to the store.

  4. WowWee MiP Robot, $99.99: This little robot won the Good Housekeeping Toy of the Year award. It was tested by engineers and kids alike, and is truly amazing. It works with or without the smartphone app using hand motion controls. You can play games with it, make it dance, and even give it a personality of its own-happy, sad, cranky, etc.

  5. Buddha Board, $10.95 - $29.95 at Barnes and Noble: Barnes and Noble are open until 6 p.m. on Wednesday and can help add a little Zen to the absolute frenzy of the holidays. These Buddha Boards are all about unleashing everyone's creativity. Paint on the surface with water (that's all you need) and you see your painting. Then as the water evaporates, the art disappears, leaving you with a clean slate.

  6. Betta fish, $5 And Up, with National Geographic fish tanks, $16 at Petsmart: Last minute doesn't have to be boring. Go for a betta fish and tank, all at an affordable price. The male betta fish are usually more colorful and have a bit of a longer life span. These fish are easy to care for and beautiful to look at.

If you can't make it to the stores until Christmas Eve, Bergamotto has some suggestions for your very last-minute shopping techniques. She recommends making "Happy Holiday Kits" using stocking-stuffer items you can purchase at your local grocery and drug stores.
