Acknowledge your personal trigger foods -- the foods you simply cannot stop eating once you start -- and keep them out of the house (and your life) entirely, at least for the time being.
By completely eliminating the foods that tempt you most (whether it’s ice cream, chips, pasta, cookies, chocolate, or peanut butter), you’ll make it much easier to stick to your plan and stay in control. When your healthy habits become routine and you feel like you have full command of your eating, you can consider reintroducing these foods into your diet.
