Shannen Doherty continues to let fans see her at her most vulnerable.

The actress, who's been publicly battling breast cancer for a year and a half, took to Instagram Tuesday to share candid photos from her chemotherapy treatment earlier this month.

In one somber photo, Doherty, 45, looks pained as she reclines in a chair, a kerchief covering her head.

"The many faces of cancer. Chemo Day," she wrote in the photo's caption. "What we call the Red Devil being injected into me via the port that's in my chest."

The former "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Charmed" star went on to praise her nurse, Dawn, for taking "excellent" care of her.

Minutes earlier, Doherty shared a photo of her husband, photographer Kurt Iswarienko, comforting her during the same chemo treatment.

"There are many faces to cancer. This is one of them," she wrote.

Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2015, but revealed in early August that the disease had spread to her lymph nodes. She underwent a single mastectomy, and has been undergoing grueling chemotherapy treatments for several weeks.

The actress has bravely shared each step of her journey with her fans on social media, including a head-shaving ceremony with friends and family.

But Doherty's cancer battle isn't the only one she's been fighting.

Last week, People reported that Doherty reached a settlement in a lawsuit against her former business management company, Tanner, Mainstain Glynn & Johnson. The actress accused her management of failing to pay her health insurance premiums, which allowed her insurance to lapse, during which time she did not seek medical care.

The lawsuit said that Doherty "discovered that she had invasive breast cancer metastatic to at least one lymph node," and "was informed that her cancer had spread during 2014 (when she was uninsured)."

The settlement amount was not disclosed.
