1. Eating fatty foods leads to bad skin

Wrong. Gorging on chips may cause a pimple or two, but research shows healthy fats, such as omega-3 fatty acids, may fight breakouts, dryness and, possibly, sun damage.

2. Dairy causes acne

Maybe. Hormones in milk may stimulate oil in our skin. But there’s not a clear cause and effect. Still, if you cut out cow’s milk, you need to replace the nutrients in your diet, especially protein.

3. Berries contain the fountain of youth
