Q: Jenna, just lost 68lbs, by walking everyday and doing a work out routine. I have hit a plateau and it's going on two months now, not losing or gaining, but it's very frustrating. I’ve been told it's 'cause I'm building muscle and need to change my eating habits, AGAIN. Im just at the UGHHHH point, but I shall hang in there. But anything you can tell me to get off the plateau? -- Tammi Shultz
A: CHANGE IT UP. The more often you change your routine and shock your muscles, making them work harder, the better results you'll get. If you spin five days a week, or walk on the treadmill five days a week or even run five days a week, your muscles know exactly what they have to do to get you through a workout. If you suddenly mix it up and throw in a kick-boxing class or a bootcamp, you'll not only target new muscle groups, but you'll have to actually work harder and, thus, burn more calories.
