Chef Ryan Scott and his mom make their favorite breakfast meal; red velvet crepes, heart in a basket, mojitos.

Red velvet crepes

Ingredients

    • 2 eggs
    • 1 egg yolk
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1/8 tsp salt
    • 3 tbsps butter, melted and extra to cook with
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • 1/4 tsp vanilla
    • 1 cup all purpose flour
    • 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
    • Red food color
    • Raspberry preserves
    • Nutella, melted
    • Powdered sugar
  • for the cream cheese filling:

    • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
    • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
    • 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
    • 1/2 cup Ricotta cheese
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Ingredients

    • 6 limes, quartered
    • 1 tbsp brown sugar
    • 2 to 3 ounces green tea-infused vodka
    • 1 to 2 cups crushed ice
    • 9 to 10 mint leaves, bruised
    • 3 to 4 ounces soda water
