Home Chef Challenge: Get your dish served on our food truck at SXSW!

Readers from all over the country have been sending in their fabulous recipes, competing in TODAY’s Home Chef Challenge.

For the next round, we’re doing a little something special: we’re looking for Southwestern-style breakfast options to feature on the menu of the TODAY.com food truck at the SXSW interactive conference in Austin, Texas in March.

We’ll choose three of our favorite recipes from your submissions and put them up for a vote among our readers on Facebook. The winner of this round will have their dish served to thousands of people at the conference!

Read the guidelines for the recipe submissions below, and show us what’s cooking by submitting your entry to TODAY’s Home Chef Challenge!

  • All entries must be original and not a copy or imitation.
  • All ingredients must be readily available in most well-stocked, U.S. supermarkets.
  • The preparation time should be one hour or less.
  • Step-by-step instructions should exact measurements of each ingredient, preparation process and helpful hints.
  • The recipe should be for 6 servings.
  • The dish can be served in disposable paper goods (must be portable).
  • Recipes must not: (a) feature or refer to any brand-name products or require a specific brand of any product or ingredient; (b) contain any copyrighted works (other than as owned by the entrant).
