There's nothing better than waking up in the morning to a beautiful sunrise, a hot cup of coffee, and a bowl of ... Girl Scout cookies?!

That's right. Don't spill your coffee — soon you'll be able to eat your favorite Girl Scout cookies in breakfast cereal form.

First, they blessed us with Thin Mints ice cream, but now, Girl Scouts of America and General Mills are teaming up for a partnership of epic (and delicious) proportions. It seems they know that we're all still kids at heart who just want to eat dessert for breakfast.

The news was uncovered by the sweet-sleuthing Instagram account Candy Hunting, who posted two stock photos of the product earlier this week showing Thin Mint and Caramel Crunch (a.k.a. Samoas) cereals.

After widespread cookie-hysteria broke out on social media, Thrillist confirmed with General Mills that the cereals will be available nationwide come January.

What a way to ring in the New Year, right?

The news comes amidst a true peak for Girl Scouts, who in August introduced two new types of cookies rolling out in January — a s'mores flavor and a chocolate-dipped s'mores cookie.

It may be too early to call, but it looks like 2017 is shaping up to be a pretty amazing year so far. Thanks, Girl Scouts!
