A university in Japan has introduced new lunchroom seats for students that include dividing barriers in the center of the table for those who don’t want others watching them chow down by themselves.

The seats, called “bocchi seki,” are meant to make it easier for students at Kyoto University to eat alone without feeling the prying, judging eyes of their peers on them. 

These dividers are the perfect solution to the “I’m hungry for cafeteria pizza but my roommate is in Psychology right now” dilemma that has plagued college students for years, but what about you?
