Give your friends a good laugh when they realize that the ice cream sundae is actually mashed potatoes and gravy. Perhaps you'd prefer a meatloaf cupcake? Gilt can get you dressed, on a plane, and into a gorgeous hotel. Now they're talking about feeding you as well. Former Gourmet editor-in-chief Ruth Reichl is reportedly organizing the food spin-off of Gilt Groupe, called Gilt Taste. Details forthcoming, but we're excited to hear what “gilty” gourmet treats the new site will offer.

Another super-secret project is in the works with Gwyneth Paltrow. She's been on the screen, then jumped on the country scene, but now she looking onto the page. A food magazine may be the next step in this adventurous actress's long line of hobbies. She's releasing a cookbook next month which may drum up some buzz for her in the foodie world.
