It's National Animal Crackers Day, and a celebration is in order! The Barnum's brand of cookies, made by Nabisco, doubles as an edible menagerie and turns 109 this year. To commemorate this magical food that allows vegetarians to be carnivores, we turn our attention to another American classic: Shirley Temple. The mini-starlet, who is also celebrating a birthday -- she is turning 83 this week --  famously recorded a song about the cookies back in 1935. To watch this video is to love her ... and the cookies.
