After buying Whole Foods this summer and offering one-hour wine delivery to Prime customers, Amazon has just announced more big plans that may continue to shake up the culinary landscape.

The online retailer revealed Friday that it's planning to partner with Olo, a company that provides food ordering software throughout the restaurant industry.

Together, the two tech titans may really become your go-to food delivery heroes. How does some Chipotle chips and "guac" sound with a refreshing smoothie from Jamba Juice? Pretty good, especially when they're hand-delivered right to your door.

Olo, a New York based service, links customers to over 200 restaurant brands including Shake Shack, Applebee’s, Chili’s, Denny’s, Jamba Juice, Red Robin, Sweetgreen, Wingstop and more. Amazon plans to expand Olo's customer accessibility nationwide with the same range of offerings.

This isn't Amazon's first taste of getting into the restaurant delivery game. In June, Amazon Restaurants test-drove the sales option by offering Olive Garden delivery for a short time.

Evidently, the delivery giant has been cooking up its partnership with Olo for a while.

“We’re thrilled to work with Amazon to provide Olo’s base of restaurant customers with a new delivery sales channel that drives increased visibility,” Noah Glass, Olo's founder and CEO, said in a press release.

Gus Lopez, general manager of Amazon Restaurants, added, “We are excited to…give Amazon Prime members more options for fast delivery from their favorite brands.”

There’s no word yet on when the new service will become available to consumers. But with both companies priding themselves on speedy delivery, we're sure your stomach won't be grumbling for long.
