Let's try and forget "Dumb and Dumberer," the much-bashed prequel to "Dumb and Dumber" that didn't include Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels. A real sequel with both original stars is coming in 2014, 20 years after the original, and Carrey is getting his teeth back in shape for the role. Or, out of shape.
Carrey tweeted a photo Sunday showing the famous chipped front tooth of his character, Lloyd Christmas.
"Dumb and Dumber To" (spelling error intentional, of course) will reunite Lloyd and his equally dim pal Harry (Daniels) for more adventures in the world of the not-so-bright.
Jim Carrey Online reported Sunday that Cam Neely, president of the Boston Bruins NHL team, will return as truck driver Sea Bass. Brady Bluhm will also return as Billy, and Kathleen Turner will also star.
Although the film has been known to be on the way for a while, many fans were thrilled by the visual reminder. "We'll prepare the tea and strumpets!" cracked L.A. Foodie on Twitter, revisiting a line from the first film.
