“Project Runway” fans still feeling down after last season’s shocking finale (Sorry, Team Mondo!) finally have a reason to cheer up. Instead of simply relying on the next season of the show to restore their faith in fashion, viewers will have the chance to enjoy two stylish “Runway” spin-offs.
According to the Wall Street Journal, show producers the Weinstein Company will launch “Project Runway: Masters” and "Project Runway: Accessories” later this year. “Masters” is set to feature professional designers going head-to-head in a series of challenges for charity. In “Accessories,” aspiring designers will compete to see who can create the winning scarves, bags and other go-with items each week.
No word yet on whether any original “Runway” personalities will show up in the newest additions to the fashion franchise.
