The Golden Globe nominees have just been named, but we've known for some time that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be hosting the annual awards show. Come Jan. 12, they'll still be the two stars we're most looking forward to seeing.
To that effect, NBC has rolled out a few new promos starring the best friends — or is it lovers? There seems to be some confusion about that detail in the first spot. They're worth a look if you can't wait for the actresses to take the stage next month.
'I said the thing that you said'
'It will be the grandest'
'5, 6, 7, 8 ...!'
If those videos put you in the right frame of mind, might as well continue the party and take another look back at Fey and Poehler's opening monologue from the 2013 Globes ceremony.
As Poehler said then, what makes it all so special is that "only at the Golden Globes do the beautiful people of film rub shoulders with the rat-face people of television."
