Suzanne Somers just proved Miley Cyrus has a lot to learn when it comes to sex among "older" people.
The 66-year-old revealed she and her long-time husband are still getting busy every day, throwing a wrench in Cyrus's theory about intimacy after 40.
"He's on hormones and I'm on hormones," Somers said of hubby Alan Hamel, 77. "I'm going to be so sorry I said that...What is it about men at four in the morning? There's some level at four in the morning, and then I'm really awake around eight or so. We have busy mornings."
Somers and Hamel have been married for 36 years but have been together as a couple for even longer —“my whole life,” she said.
Somers was prompted to share after she and the show's hosts discussed Cyrus’s comments about the libidos of people older than 40.
On Monday, the 20-year-old controversial entertainer told TODAY’s Matt Lauer that she planned to continue playing up her sexuality as long as she could.
"I heard when you turn 40, things start to go a little less sexual. So probably around 40, around that time, I heard that's when people don't have sex anymore,” Cyrus said.
