It seems Susan Sarandon found a way to make the time fly at all those three-hour-plus awards shows — well, at most of them. During a recent visit to "Watch What Happens Live," the actress admitted she wasn't always sober for the Tinseltown festivities.
In a round of Plead the Fifth, in which guests are allowed to bypass one of several personal questions, host Andy Cohen asked Sarandon to name one major Hollywood event where she "showed up to stoned."
"Only one?" she laughed. "I would say almost all except the Oscars."
With more than three decades worth of nominations, that equals a whole lot of events. The Academy Award-winning actress has been up for numerous Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild awards, Emmys and Critic's Choice Awards.
While Cohen had Sarandon in the hot seat, he also asked her about big-screen regrets. But as it turned out, she had none.
That left him with just one more question for the lightening round: Which celeb would fans be surprised to learn she "hooked up with in the past"?
"I plead the fifth!" she said.
