Staring out the window at the airport never looked as fun — or fake — as it does in a new viral video which captures what is billed as "leaked 'Star Wars: Episode VII' filmset footage."
The video trickery, by YouTube user Frank Wunderlich, shows assorted spacecraft and troop transports at Germany's Frankfurt Airport, which is billed as an Imperial Starport. Wunderlich says in the video description that he shot the video while waiting for a flight back to the US.

The realistic footage shows an Imperial shuttle and TIE fighters flying overhead. Shuttles are also seen parked on the tarmac as AT-AT walkers lumber past and Stormtroopers stand guard. Smaller AT-ST walkers and a massive Star Destroyer are also superimposed at the airport, and a damaged Death Star looms in the sky above Earth. All of this takes place as non-sci-fi buses and vans cruise past.
We can only hope the Rebel Alliance is staging ships and personnel at another Earthly location.

- Newcomers Pip Anderson and Crystal Clarke have been added to the cast of "Episode VII" after an open call which attracted more than 37,000 people across 11 cities in the US and UK.
- Disney announced on Sunday that production on the film will be halted for two weeks in August in order to adjust the schedule for Harrison Ford's leg injury. The Han Solo actor broke his leg in June while filming a scene on the Millennium Falcon.
"Star Wars: Episode VII," directed by J.J. Abrams, is set for release in December 2015.
