Frank Sorrentino, father of “Jersey Shore” star and GTL enthusiast Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, launched a low-blow-filled, tell-all attack at his son this week. In it, the elder Sorrentino blasted his boy for turning his back on him financially. Now TMZ has discovered another possible motivation for Sitch Sr.’s headline-grabbing behavior — the mad dad allegedly wants his own show.
That’s right! Move over, kiddo. According to insiders, Frank Sorrentino is in the market for a reality TV career. And like The Situation, who released a guide on the Seaside Heights lifestyle last year, dad’s said to be looking for a book deal, too.
TMZ reports that the patriarch believes his family thinks he lacks talent, and “now he’s out to prove them wrong.”
If Frank Sorrentino’s reality TV dream comes true, viewers will decide that for themselves.
