The long battle that pitted actor Charlie Sheen against "Two and a Half Men" creator Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros. Television is finally over.

Sheen had filed a $100 million wrongful termination lawsuit after losing his role as playboy Charlie Harper on the hit sitcom earlier this year. Just prior to his firing, the actor had launched verbal attacks against Lorre in the media.

Warner Bros. confirmed the news of a settlement in a statement today, saying all three parties "have resolved their dispute" to "mutual satisfaction." "The pending lawsuit and arbitration will be dismissed as to all parties.  The parties have agreed to maintain confidentiality over the terms of the settlement," the statement said.

Though there are no details available, a source told the Los Angeles Times last week that Warner Bros. would pay the actor about $25 million to settle. As noted in the statement, Warner Bros. isn't commenting on how much Sheen is getting, but sources familiar with the settlement say the actor was paid what he was owed for the episodes he taped.
