While many “Two and a Half Men” fans told us that they were upset to learn the once-beloved Charlie Harper would soon meet his mortal end rather than simply fading away, the man behind Harper couldn’t be happier about that fate.

Speaking to TMZ, Charlie Sheen revealed that the end of his character, and his replacement in the form of Ashton Kutcher, marks a new beginning for him.

“I have always been told that I have nine lives,” the actor said. “So it is going to be amazing to witness my own funeral, which is clearly a win/win situation because Ashton has just given me a 10th."

Sheen’s not the only one set to enjoy Harper’s final farewell. As reported earlier, “Men” creator Chuck Lorre is said to have “loved killing off Charlie.”
