September has been pretty good to Shakira so far.
Earlier this week, NBC announced the international superstar (along with Usher) will join "The Voice's" upcoming season as a coach. And on Wednesday, she took to her Facebook page to tell her 54.6 million fans that she and boyfriend Gerard Pique are expecting.
"Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby!" she wrote. "At this time, we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days."
Shakira, 35, has been dating the FC Barcelona soccer star for more than a year and a half; she officially confirmed their relationship in March 2011.

Before meeting Pique, the Colombian-born beauty dated Antonio de la Rua for over a decade.
