Updated, 8:55 a.m. PT: Having milked just about every ounce of amusement out of the "Sex and the City" film franchise, Hollywood is now looking at another re-boot. This time, a story following the plotlines of Candace Bushnell's prequel novels, "The Carrie Diaries," and "Summer in the City."
According to the rumors, Blake Lively could play a younger Samantha; Selena Gomez is being looked at as Charlotte; Miranda would be played by Emma Roberts; Carrie would go to Elizabeth Olsen, the younger sibling of Mary-Kate and Ashley.
A rep for Lively does say that despite the rumors, she will not be doing the film.
What do you think? Would you watch a younger version of the "SATC" women? And what about Mr. Big? Any casting ideas? Cast your vote and leave a note in the comments.
