Something ba-a-a-a-d is happening at "Sesame Street's" version of the CIA! In a new parody released online Monday, the popular children's program is taking on Showtime's award-winning drama "Homeland" with a tale about a wolf in sheep's clothing called "Homelamb."

In a pun-filled take that has kid appeal and enough "Homeland" references to make the parents chuckle, Nicholas Ba-a-a-a-rody comes to help the sheep at the CIA find the Big Bad Wolf.

Just as in the hit drama, Muppet-Carrie freaks quite a out a bit, suspects the new guy, falls for Ba-a-a-a-rody and uncovers his secret — he is the terrorist ... err ... Big Bad Wolf!

"Sesame Street," currently in its 44th season, has spoofed other pop-culture favorites this year, including "Sons of Anarchy" and Icona Pop's catchy tune "I Love It." The Muppet-filled PBS program is also boasting quite the roster of celebrity guests this season, including Anna Kendrick, Charlize Theron, Dave Matthews and Peter Dinklage.

"Sesame Street's" "Homelamb" airs on PBS Thursday.
