'Seinfeld' stars spotted at show's famed diner

Two guys walk into their favorite diner. Yada yada yada. Except, wait! It's not just any random pair of guys, and it's not just any diner. In fact, it was "Seinfeld" stars Jerry Seinfeld and George Costanza ... we mean, Jason Alexander who strolled into Tom's Restaurant in New York on Monday.

Twitter user Ali Phil captured and shared proof that "Seinfeld" lives on — at least in the city's Upper West Side, where the show's famous diner is located.

The eatery — known as Monk's on the NBC sitcom — was closed, and Ali Phil noted that the men were being filmed. But for what?

"Could be Seinfeld's web series, 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,' which is terrific, by the way, or a Super Bowl commercial?" TODAY's Al Roker guessed on Tuesday. "Or a reunion?!"

Whatever the men were working on, Alexander isn't going to tell any time soon, though he is teasing about it.

Seinfeld earlier this month revealed he's working on an upcoming venture. He wouldn't share much other than to call it a "big, huge, gigantic" project with "Seinfeld" co-creator Larry David.
