See for your selfie: 'Walking Dead' stars alive and well on Instagram

March 29, 2014 at 9:59 AM ET

There's no cell-phone signal or Internet connection after the zombie apocalypse, so just in case life ever imitates art, you should enjoy Instagram now for your fix of "The Walking Dead" stars.

On set and off, with co-stars and without, the actors and actresses who roam rural Georgia on AMC's hit series bring a different face to their social accounts. There's less dirt, sweat, and blood, and the selfies convey less fear than we're used to seeing in the eyes of Glenn, Maggie, Carl and others.

So focus on how these stars are living life now before this Sunday, when the season four finale reminds us once again how their characters have been cheating death.

Norman Reedus (Daryl)
Lots of selfies, photos of fan art, travel shots, food, fellow celebs and even his kitty.

Lauren Cohan (Maggie)
Fewer selfies here, but she offers up a couple nice magazine photos, including one with her "husband."

Emily Kinney (Beth)
Maggie's younger sister on the show is more selfie-happy, and she also promotes her second career as a singer.

Chandler Riggs (Carl)
There are a few brooding selfies keeping with the Carl mood, but he's still a kid, and what kid wouldn't like having his own action figure?

Steve Yeun (Glenn)
Yeun clearly has the most photographic eye of the bunch, offering up a mix of well-composed travel shots and portraiture amid the selfies.

Alanna Masterson (Tara)
Where would Glenn be on the road to Terminus without the help of Tara? She's a prolific selfie shooter and clearly loves her dog.

'The Walking Dead' (main show account)
Beyond promos for upcoming episodes, AMC does a good job of re-gramming photos of the stars from assorted appearances and magazine shoots.

"The Walking Dead" airs Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
