The wait for the royal baby is almost over!
Kate Middleton was admitted to the hospital today, just before 6 a.m., London time. She and Prince William arrived at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's hospital in London, where reporters and photographers have been camped out for weeks.
"The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St. Mary’s Hospital, in Paddington, London, in the early stages of labor," a royal spokesman said. "The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing with The Duke of Cambridge."
It had been previously reported that Kate had changed her mind and was planning to give birth at Reading's Royal Berkshire Hospital where she was born, instead. But clearly she has stuck with her original plan to welcome the future king or queen at the hospital where William was brought into the world.
Sources tell MailOnline that the Duchess went into labor naturally, as was her plan, and that things are "progressing well."
