Roseanne Barr is fighting mad. In a series of angry tweets Friday, the comedian accuses the folks at CBS' hit comedy "Two and a Half Men" — including creator Chuck Lorre, star Ashton Kutcher — of stealing her joke.
"Friends told me that Ashton Kutcher is stealing my jokes without any sense of being conscious of being a (expletive) thief," she tweeted. "Hollywood TV 'writers' r actually just souless thieves of comics' intellectual property."
"(expletive) Kutcher is stealing my 'wet where i'm supposed to be dry' joke," she continued.
On a recent episode of "Men," Kutcher's Walden Schmidt said about being 91, "I'd imagine that you're wet in the places you used to be dry, and dry in the places you used to be wet."
Judging from a story of her 2006 HBO special and review of her stand-up show from 2007, it's almost a word-for-word rehash, but her joke was about menopause.
Lorre used to work with Barr on her hit sitcom, "Roseanne," as a writer and producer, but things have since gone sour. (She has claimed that she fired Lorre "for being a big drunk on my show.")
Neither CBS nor Warner Bros, the studio behind the hit comedy, have replied to requests for comment.
"Two and a Half Men" airs Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. on CBS.
