Last year, Rob Lowe impressed many with his uncanny resemblance to convicted murderer Drew Peterson when he starred in Lifetime's "Untouchable: The Drew Peterson Story."

Now, the "Parks and Recreation" star is playing President John F. Kennedy in National Geographic Channel's two-hour original drama "Killing Kennedy," which is based on the best-selling of the same title.

In a newly released photo, Lowe is striking a pose Kennedy made famous in his official portrait -- and he manages to look very much like the former president.

Ginnifer Goodwin ("Big Love" and "Once Upon a Time") will play former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy.

The film, based on a book co-written by Fox News host Bill O'Reilly, began production in Virginia this week.

National Geographic plans to air "Killing Kennedy" in November.
