"The Real Housewives of D.C." are reportedly out of a job. According to Radar Online, after just one season, the D.C. version of the Bravo franchise will not be back thanks to sad ratings.
"The show just didn't do well and it wasn't worth airing another season," a source told the gossip site. "No one from the cast has been contacted yet and told that the show is canceled." (Wonder if Michaele Salahi will find some other political shindig to crash in an attempt to save the show -- or land another one.)
But it sounds like "D.C." was not the only version that struggled. Radar also reports that the latest installation, "Miami," is doing poorly in the ratings as well. "After DC failed in the ratings and Miami just bombed, (Bravo) realized they can't just start a show anywhere and it will succeed," the source told the site.
"The Real Housewives" brand -- which includes "Orange County," "Atlanta," "New Jersey," "New York" and "Beverly Hills" -- has otherwise been very successful.
