If you've ever thought, "I love the late-'80s Disney show, 'DuckTales,' but it could really use some actual ducks instead of the cartoon ones," your dreams came true this week, thanks to the Internet.
On Monday, the YouTube page Oh My Disney posted the aforementioned video, which has it all, namely:
- Ducks wearing hats
- Seriously: Ducks. Wearing. Hats.
- A duck, flying an airplane (sort of)
- Stunning visual effects, e.g. the groundbreaking "stuffed animal attached to a wire" technology
- Ducks reportedly solving mysteries, rewriting history
The video is even funnier when compared to the original title sequence of the Disney series, which for four seasons chronicled the adventures of rambunctious triplets Huey, Dewey and Louie, and their affluent grandfather, Scrooge McDuck.
Perhaps it's only a matter of time before someone dabbles in flavored gelatin to produce a live-action version of "Gummi Bears," provided they bounce here and there and everywhere.
