One chapter of the bizarre and increasingly complicated Jackson family saga has come to a close: family matriarch Katherine Jackson  has returned home, according to Michael Jackson's daughter Paris. "Grandma's here! #thankyougod tweeted in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Paris, 14, reported her grandmother missing July 21 amid a dispute over late singer Michael Jackson's estate. Katherine was later found safe and sound in Arizona, but that didn't keep Paris from tweeting concern about her grandmother, who at the time was the appointed guardian for Paris and her brothers Prince, 15, and Blanket, 10.

On July 23 Paris tweeted, "8 days and counting. something is really off, this isn't like her at all... I wanna talk directly to my grandmother!!" Just hours before Katherine's apparent return, here whereabouts appeared to still be in question, with Paris tweeting, "they promised my grandmother would be home YESTERDAY. Why isn't she home?"

Because of Katherine's multi-day absence, a judge on Wednesday temporarily removed her guardianship of Paris, Prince and Blanket and named Katherine's grandson Tito Joe "TJ" Jackson temporary caretaker of the children. Katherine told ABC News that the court ruling was "based on a bunch of lies."

theGrio: Who is TJ Jackson?

"I am devastated that while I've been away, that my children, my grandchildren, have been taken away from me, and I'm coming home to see about that, also," she said Wednesday, reading from a prepared statement. "I am here today to let everybody know that I am fine and I am here with my children, and my children would never do a thing to me like that, holding me against my will," she said while her children Randy, Janet and Rebbie were seated next to her. "It's very stupid for people to think that."

Next, attorneys for Katherine Jackson are expected to ask the court to reinstate her as guardian. Separate from the guardianship issue, some Jackson family members continue to dispute the validity of Michael's will. Randy Jackson on Tuesday's episode of Al Sharpton's "PoliticsNation" on MSNBC said he believes the will is fake, and the executors engaged in criminal activity.
