Paris Hilton's newest pet is one of the cutest and tiniest...and apparently costs the same as many compact cars.

The 33-year-old Los Angeles heiress, known for her many pets and who famously appeared with her pet Chihuahua Tinkerbell on the reality show "The Simple Life," has purchased a tiny, white Pomeranian puppy originally named Mr. Amazing and has shared adorable photos of him on her Instagram page.

She ordered the dog from a Canada-based business that arranges for puppies in South Korea to be shipped to buyers overseas, according to the newspaper The Calgary Sun. The outlet reported on Friday that the seller, Joanne Pauze, did not reveal how much Hilton paid for the dog and added that it was worth $13,000.

The seller goes by the name Betty Pedram on Facebook and said on her page on Sept. 5 that the puppy is 4-and-a-half months old, has a 2-and-a-half-inch back and stands less than 1-and-a-half-inch tall. A photo posted that day showed him to be the length of a pair of sunglasses. He is estimated to reach no more than 2 pounds when he is fully grown, she says. The American Kennel Club states that full-grown Pomeranians typically weigh between 3 and 7 pounds.

There are no photos of the puppies' parents on Pauze's sites. It is unclear if the pictures of the pups have been retouched.

It is unclear if Hilton will keep the puppy's original name.

"Any name suggestions for my new lil baby?" she asked.

UPDATE: She also posted a video of the pup:
