The pizza guy who fed the starving stars at Sunday night's Academy Awards showed up on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" Monday to deliver a great story about his experience — and collect a hefty tip.

Edgar, owner of a Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria franchise in Hollywood, visited the Oscars host on her own show and told her he thought the order he was dropping off at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday was for "writers."

"When I was there, they just told me wait here, and then you came out," Edgar told DeGeneres. "And you said, 'Just follow me.'"

Before he knew it, Edgar, with an armload of pizzas, was on the stage and he "was in shock." Asked Monday who he was excited to have seen in the audience, Edgar said Julia Roberts was his "woman in dreams" and that he was always watching her movies "back in Moscow."

DeGeneres then pulled out Pharrell's famous hat, which she passed around for a tip on Sunday night. She dug out $600 and handed it to Edgar and then went into her own pocket for $400 more to boost his earnings to an easy $1,000.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the order was for roughly 20 pizzas with cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms and olives. Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep and Kerry Washington were among those seen chowing down.

The pizzeria tweeted that Edgar is a former driver who bought his franchise five years ago. The shop was busy on Sunday, so Edgar made the delivery to the big show, and the rest is television history.
